2016 AAS Larry Park Memorial

this is always a fun event to compete in. The course is always large and fast for the high horsepower cars and it’s courses like this that let me explore the limits of my gearing. I had a lot of fun, and figured out a lot of tidbits on my car, driving and I think I have the knowledge I need to go faster.

  • got to hit the braking points
  • I need to lose weight off the car.  the car is 50lbs over the minimum weight.
  • I need to work on my gearing.  4th gear was useless to me because when I shifted from 3rd to 4th, I dropped below peak torque and never gained any time.
  • And last but not least, I need to tighten the nut behind the wheel..
