Ha! that happened faster than expected.
This doesn’t mean that the CurrentC servers were compromised, all we have here is some hackers who are phishing the internet to find some sucker who is dumb enough to open that email. This is the classic first step in hacking the system.
The minute you open that email, or if it has an attachment, the minute you touch that attachment, your computer is infected. Once infected, you and MCX have lost control over the security in any transaction you might perform using this payment service.
Better yet, don’t use CurrentC. Between QR codes that have already been hacked, and your bank information stored on someone else’s server, it’s not worth the risk.
